Fascination, Joy and Fulfillment
As I child here in Raleigh I watched a lady breastfeeding her baby and remember being absolutely enthralled. When I was fourteen, I sat with my aunt while she was nursing and was overcome by a sense of awe. Then I gave birth to five children of my own and experienced the true joys nursing each of my own babies into toddlerhood. It must have always been my calling. I do know that I now do the most fulfilling work I could have ever imagined.
Fascination, joy and fulfillment still accompany me to every visit I make and when each breastfeeding mom visits me. I know I’ve done my job if you experience those feeling as well.
It took perseverance and dedication to prepare myself to become both a registered nurse, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and owner of my own practice called Nature’s Nutrition located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. It is from there that I can serve the entire Triangle area and beyond. My resume speaks to those experiences and the high levels of clinical and theoretical knowledge that I have attained. What may matter most of all is that you and your baby will enjoy working with me toward the goal of a successful nursing experience.
